🐑 The Great Sheep Guessing Challenge Welcome to the Great Sheep Guessing Challenge! This week David led the team through a Sunday school lesson on the parable about the lost sheep. We had a blast as a team going through the lesson and making our own sheep at the end. Some of them have a looooot of personality :) It has been so good to have some more time to bond as a team and have some fun together. See if you can guess who made each one and share your scores! Match each sheep to the team member who made it! Three Weeks to Lampang

Mission Trip Update Preparing for Thailand: Team Updates As the trip gets closer, the preparation process has really picked up, and it’s starting to feel more real. We’re just three weeks away from heading to Lampang, and I can’t help but reflect on how far we’ve come in getting ready for this mission. This week, I presented sermon material to our youth group, using content I'll be sharing in Thailand. It was a great chance to work through the ideas with an audience and get feedback. The talk centered on how God sometimes calls the unlikely, but sometimes calls the likely too. God's calling on our lives can align perfectly with our skills, experiences, connections, and relationships. We explored how this played out in the lives of Moses—a shy speaker who was also the only Israelite to become part of the Egyptian royal family—and Paul, who used his past as a Jewish Pharisee and his position as a Roman citizen to bridge the gap between Jews and Gentil...

Preparing Our Heart and Hands

Preparing Our Heart and Hands As our trip to Thailand gets closer, our team has been spending time preparing in ways that go far beyond packing bags and booking flights. These weeks have been about growing together, learning together, and intentionally getting ready for what God has ahead. One of our main focuses has been preparing Sunday school lessons for kids’ camp. We’ve been thinking through how to share Bible stories in ways that are clear, engaging, and culturally thoughtful, while keeping lots of room for fun, creativity, and relationship-building. In our most recent meeting and the ones going forward, each of the team members will be practicing going through their bible lesson. Ava went first and taught us all about how Jesus is with us in the storms of life! She prepared a very engaging lesson and put up with our antics - she is so ready to teach the kids. While we are there we will be leading some kids camps for kids from the church and in their area. This i...
