Ava is a Grade 11 student at Cedars who attends the senior youth group at Westwood and serves in the children's ministry. She also enjoys serving at Ness lake Bible Camp in the summer. She is excited to experience a new culture, and to see if missions is something God is calling her to do in the future.

Cadence is a student athlete who loves basketball, sports, being in nature, trying new things and going to Youth Group. She is using this trip to see if mission trips are something she feels called to do in the future.

David Hillhouse

David Hillhouse

David is a student, an athlete, a member of Westwood, and most importantly, a follower of Jesus. His favourite thing is being outdoors and in God's creation. He enjoys going to Westwood Sr. youth on Wednesday nights, and he serves as a leader in Jr. youth on Thursdays. He is excited to serve the church in Lampang, and he can't wait to see what plans God has for him on this trip and his life to come.

Tyler Lane

Tyler serves on the Youth, Young Adults and Worship teams at Westwood. He is looking forward to supporting the youth who are on this team!

Katie Baerg

Katie Baerg

Katie serves on the Khmu Ambassabor team connecting with the Lampang church year round. She currently serves in youth and children's minsitry at Westwood.

Nolan Hanson

Nolan Hanson

Nolan serves as the Pastor of Youth Ministries, is Khmu Ambassador, and is the Team Lead for the Thailand Missions Team for 2026.

Team Update – Cultural Training & Fundraiser Prep Cultural Training, Team Building & Fundraiser Prep! This past Sunday, our Thailand 2026 team gathered for a our second training session and team meeting. We were joined in person by Jon Easu and Faa Wall from the Lower Mainland, and pastor Chaloerm Saenwichai from Thailand. Jon and Chaloerm are Co-directors of Partners in Vision, which builds intentional, global church partnerships by planting churches in northern Thailand and neighboring regions, fostering mutual support and service with Canadian churches, and equipping leaders through evangelism and discipleship. Faa is a Thai-born Christian with a heart for connecting people, and she has joined Partners in Vision as a partnership facilitator, she helps Thai and Canadian churches understand each other, grow together, and serve well together.
